Dr. Ashish Bhatia is a Board-certified and fellowship trained dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. Dr. Bhatia received his medical degree from Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honors society and earned awards for both achievement and service. He completed his residency in Dermatology at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals where he served as Chief Resident. Subsequently, he completed an intensive fellowship in Mohs Surgery, Cutaneous Oncology, Reconstruction, Cosmetic and Laser Surgery at SkinCare Physicians in Boston, MA under the direction of the leaders in the field from Boston University, Harvard University, and Yale University School of Medicine.
Dr. Bhatia is an internationally recognized expert in dermatologic surgery and cosmetic surgery. His expertise includes facial and body aesthetic surgery, skin cancer therapy, Mohs and reconstructive surgery, laser surgery, and skin resurfacing procedures including scar reduction and revision. He has contributed to the advancement of techniques in facial reconstruction, scar revision, fat reduction, and the use of purified neurotoxins and fillers and published extensively in journals and textbooks, and is a sought after teacher, speaker, and instructor both nationally and internationally.
Professor Greg Goodman AM is an Australian dermatologist and holds academic appointments as Clinical Professor at Monash University, Melbourne and as an Associate Professor at the University College of London, is head of taskforce for the Australasian College of Dermatologists in higher education in Cosmetic Dermatology, president of the Australasian Society of Dermatologists (ASCD) and one of Heads of Faculty Allergan Medical Institute.
Professor Goodman holds a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in post-acne scarring and a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Epidemiology (GradDipClinEpi) from Monash University.
He was awarded an Order of Australia (AM) in the general division January 2021.
Professor Goodman lectures in Australia and internationally on skin ageing, skin care, cosmesis and complications of treatments. He has published widelyon acne, acne scarring, and cosmetic dermatology, Professor Goodman reviews for many local and overseas journals and is an International Contributing Editor of the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery.
A Specialist Dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, Dr Ryan De Cruz completed his medical degree at The University of Melbourne, undertaking his residency at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and advanced training at St. George’s Hospital NHS, London.
With experience working in hospitals across Melbourne and the UK, Dr De Cruz has been appointed Consultant positions at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and The Skin Health Institute.
With a keen interest in the areas of eczema, acne and rosacea, psoriasis, skin cancer management, laser treatment and hair loss disorders, Dr De Cruz is passionate about providing holistic dermatological care and in sharing his knowledge with fellow industry professionals.

Dr Clair McCartney is an experienced aesthetic physician with over 12 years in medical aesthetics and women’s health. As part of the leadership team at Sanctum Medical Aesthetics, she is dedicated to creating spaces where women feel safe, supported and truly heard.
Originally founded in Hobart 15 years ago, Sanctum has grown into a multi-clinic organisation led by a strong female leadership team. Dr Clair co-led the expansion into Noosa, bringing a clear focus on pro-ageing philosophy, patient education and natural, confidence-enhancing outcomes.

Dr. Michael Somenek is a double board certified facial plastic surgeon who practices in Washington, DC. Dr. Somenek got an undergraduate degree in microbiology at the University of Miami and a medical degree at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He stayed on at this prestigious institution for 5 more years of postgraduate training in otolaryngology. He then completed an intensive fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery under the tutelage of world-renowned facial plastic surgeons Dr. J. Regan Thomas and Dr. Dean Toriumi at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
Dr. Somenek is the author of many peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters, contributing extensively in his field as he routinely lectures on procedures for facial rejuvenation and developing new nonsurgical innovations worldwide.
Dr. Sean Arendse graduated from King’s College London and has a background as an emergency consultant at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. He founded Flawless Rejuvenation Skin Clinics in 2007, and enjoys working across both the fields of Emergency medicine and Aesthetic medicine. He is currently a member and on the Board of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australia, and 2018 completed a postgraduate diploma in clinical dermatology with Queen Mary’s College London. He has a keen interest in the use of both energy based devices and non energy based treatments in achieving the best aesthetic result for his clients, and is a KOL for a number of injectable and device companies. He has a special interest in Cosmetic medical emergencies which he has published on and is an advocate for safety in the Aesthetic industry.
Emma Wallace is a Registered Nurse with a special interest in body contouring and aesthetics. Her career spans over 30 years; training in Brisbane, Queensland then working around Australia, she moved to Canada and continued her career in Montreal. Emma transitioned into aesthetics in 2017 after having completed the ACMAS Diploma of Cosmetic Injecting for Doctors and Nurses and opened her own successful clinic.
In 2020, she discovered the Cutera truSculpt ® devices and, with her partner Dr Allan Clarke, opened Sun Sculpt Body Contouring, in Maroochydore, Queensland.
Emma enjoys her aesthetic work, but also liaises with Dr. Clarke in designing muscle strengthening plans for his patients. She is excited at what the truSculpt technology can provide, both in aesthetics and muscle rehabilitation.
Dr Allan Clarke qualified as an Orthopaedic Surgeon in 1991. He holds specialist certification in Orthopaedic Surgery from the College of Medicine of South Africa (FCS), the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC) and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS).
Dr Clarke commenced private practice in Canada in 1991. In 2001 he relocated to Australia and was appointed as Director of Orthopaedics for the Sunshine Coast Health Services District before commencing private practice at the Sunshine Coast Private Hospital in 2005, with his main interests being shoulder, knee and hip surgery.
Dr Clarke has also performed over 2000 hip, knee and shoulder replacements and over 10000 shoulder and knee arthroscopies.
He has been a speaker and surgical instructor at local and international Orthopaedic meetings.
As a strong patient advocate, Dr Clarke believes that patients should have a clear understanding of their orthopaedic problem and specific goals of treatment in order to be an active and effective participant in their rehabilitation program. He is currently using the truSculpt Flex to augment and accelerate the rehabilitation of his patients.
Kelly George is a Registered Cosmetic Nurse and the Founder of Kelly George Aesthetics, with a career in medical aesthetics that began in 2006. Starting her journey with Allergan Australia, Kelly has since built multiple successful businesses spanning clinical practice, skincare innovation, education, and business mentoring.
She is widely recognised for her commitment to natural-looking results, patient education, and high clinical standards. Kelly is the founder of KGA Body, Australia’s first active skincare range designed specifically for the body, and the creator of Skin & Sass, a podcast focused on providing clear, honest information about skin and aesthetic treatments.
In addition to her clinical work, Kelly runs a respected coaching and mentoring business, supporting clinic owners to build sustainable, ethical, and successful aesthetic practices.
Dr Shobhan Manoharan is a leading Medical and Laser Dermatologist, widely recognised for his contribution to acne management, acne scarring, and innovation in laser-based dermatology. Based in Brisbane, he is the Medical Director of Dermatology Clinics Australia and the founder of DermEd.com.au, Australia’s first dermatologist-led laser education institute.
Dr Manoharan established Australia’s most comprehensive laser and energy-based technology suite, enabling highly specialised, device-led dermatological care across medical and cosmetic indications. He is also the pioneer behind Australia’s first condition-specific clinics for eczema, psoriasis, and vitiligo, creating structured, long-term care pathways for complex chronic skin conditions.
Highly regarded by general practitioners and medical peers, Dr Manoharan has played a key role in improving access to specialist dermatology through the introduction of rapid-access clinics. Alongside his clinical leadership, he remains deeply committed to education, training dermatologists and clinicians locally and internationally.
Dr Paul Thibault has worked in the fields of Phlebology and Cosmetic Medicine since1988. In 1993 he founded the Sclerotherapy Society of Australia and was then Founding President of the Australasian College of Phlebology (ACP) in 2000.
Dr Thibault is currently Associate Editor of the international journal, “Phlebology”. He has written many peer reviewed articles in medical journals in the fields of cosmetic medicine and phlebology and has contributed to major textbooks on venous diseases. Dr Thibault is known for his pioneering work in the non-surgical treatment of varicose and spider veins, the use of duplex ultrasound to assess venous disease, the technique of ultrasound guided sclerotherapy to treat major varicose veins and dermatologic laser treatment for superficial vascular and pigmentary disorders. His recent research has been the diagnosis and manifestations of chronic cerebrospinal venous obstruction which includes the management of rosacea.
She is a dedicated Doctor with over 40 years of experience. She is the founder and CEO of The Skin Lab, and she takes pride in offering high-quality services and caring treatments to her loyal client base. She is passionate about skin health and enjoys working with her patients to assist them in achieving both healthy and beautiful skin.
She opened The Skin Lab in April 2010, after working with consultant dermatologist Dr. Godfrey Wagner at Brisbane’s Terrace Dermatology clinic since 2002. Dr. Jenkins performs skin surgery, assessment of skin problems and a wide variety of cosmetic procedures to enhance the appearance and health of the skin.
She has undertaken extensive laser training and holds a full user license under Queensland Health Radiation Safety Act 1999. She has years of hands-on experience with the use of lasers and utilises the latest technologies in laser and cosmetic medicine She also personally trains the Dermal Therapists that work with her to ensure a high standard of patient care. She is a proud member of the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australia.
Previously, Dr. Heather Jenkins worked for 28 years in general practice with a particular interest in the management of skin disease. She graduated from the prestigious Melbourne University, where she gained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honours. Outside of work she is a daughter, Wife, Mother to 3, Step-Mother to 2 and Grandmother to four and relishes every moment of family time. She love cooking, gardening, travelling, reading and knitting.
Grania is a highly qualified registered nurse with a specific interest in cosmetic nursing and has over 20 years’ experience in the aesthetic industry, initially as a trainer and educator for medical grade lasers and dermal filler, pioneering the use of both in aesthetics in Ireland over 20 years ago.
She moved to the beautiful Central Coast of Australia in 2007 and worked with renowned Plastic Surgeons and Cosmetic Physicians on the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Sydney as a medicosmetic nurse.
She founded and opened Laserclear Cosmetic Clinic in East Gosford in July 2016 and as the name suggests the clinic specialises in laser treatments, both ablative & non ablative.
